Role Description

The Warehouse Associate will play a key role in the daily operations of our warehouse in Kolkata. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for handling shipping and receiving, packing and preparing orders, unloading stock, and performing general warehouse duties. The Warehouse Associate will help ensure accuracy, efficiency, and a smooth flow of goods within the facility, including maintaining equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks as needed. Collaboration with the team and a strong work ethic are critical to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum 10th or 12th Pass (Higher Secondary) from a recognized board.
• Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse (Godown) environment, preferably within the garment or e-commerce sector, is highly advantageous.
• Operational Skills: * Practical knowledge of Inward/Outward (Shipping & Receiving) and Dispatch processes.
• Proficiency in Picking and Packing with high speed and accuracy to meet daily order targets.
• Logistics Awareness: Basic understanding of courier manifests and scanning processes (familiarity with handheld scanners/smartphones is a plus).
• Communication: Proficiency in Hindi and/or Bengali is essential for team coordination; basic ability to read English labels and shipping addresses is required.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting boxes, standing for long shifts, and navigating a busy warehouse floor.
• Reliability: Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and discipline. Candidates residing in or around Kolkata (South/Central) will be preferred for ease of commute.
