Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:

• Perform the physical acceptance of cargo, including Ready for Carriage (R4C) and security checks
• Ensure proper storage and handling of cargo
• Support Unit Load Device (ULD) build-up and supporting external staff during cargo handling activities
• Weigh ULDs and trolleys accurately
• Complete and sign ULD tags as required
• Perform the physical breakdown of ULDs
• Report irregularities, including missing or damaged cargo and identify non-declared Dangerous Goods (DGR)
• Hand over freight to customers in accordance with established procedures
• Perform all activities in accordance with documented Cargo Handling Manual (CHM) and Ground Operations Manual (GOM) procedures
• Observe and apply the security requirements of the company and local authorities
  
  

Requirements

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent qualification in accordance with applicable Cargo Handling Manual (CHM) and Ground Operations Manual (GOM) requirements is desirable
• Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in the aviation industry, preferably in a relevant operational role
• Must willing to work shifts
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, as well as the Marathi language
• Good computer literacy and proficiency in standard office applications
• Strong analytical skills, business acumen and strategic thinking
• High degree of reliability, teamwork, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Must possess a valid driver's licence
