Job Summary

Looking for an experienced Web Access Management (WAM) Engineer to provide L2/L3 production support for enterprise IAM services using PingFederate, PingAccess and Ping MFA. The role involves authentication troubleshooting, monitoring, configuration changes, incident resolution and coordination with cloud, infrastructure, application and security teams in an AWS environment.

Must-Have Skills

• 6+ years of relevant IAM / WAM experience
• Hands-on experience with:
• PingFederate
• PingAccess
• Ping MFA
• Strong understanding of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC) and SSO
• Production troubleshooting of authentication and access issues
• Experience with login failures, certificate issues, token errors, access policies and authentication flows
• Strong log analysis and troubleshooting skills
• AWS cloud environment experience
• Exposure to Kubernetes / Amazon EKS
• Knowledge of LDAP and Active Directory
• REST API and identity integration experience
• Understanding of sessions, cookies, reverse proxies, SSL certificates and authentication flows
• Experience with incident, change and problem management
• Basic scripting/automation skills
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for WAM and IAM services.
• Support and maintain PingFederate, PingAccess and Ping MFA platforms.
• Troubleshoot SSO, federation, MFA, authentication and access-policy issues.
• Analyze SAML/OIDC/OAuth transactions, HTTP headers, logs and authentication events.
• Investigate application access problems, token failures and certificate issues.
• Support IAM platforms hosted in AWS, including operational support for EKS/Kubernetes deployments.
• Perform configuration updates, service checks, patch coordination and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with application, cloud, infrastructure and security teams for incident resolution.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs, runbooks, known-issue documentation and resolution procedures.
• Participate in incident response, change activities and on-call rotations.
• Prepare client weekly reports and presentations/representations.
