Wallpaper Business Head

Location : Kuwait

Reports To : Managing Director

Required Experience :

Minimum 710 years experience in wallpaper or wallcoverings industry

- Proven experience starting or managing a wallpaper business or division

- Strong knowledge of wallpaper materials, installation, and project sales

GCC or Middle East experience preferred

Job Purpose

Responsible for establishing, launching, and scaling a wallpaper business in Kuwait from scratch.

This role requires full ownership of operations, sales, supplier management, installation teams, and

overall profitability, working closely with the owner for strategic alignment.

Key Responsibilities :

Business Setup & Launch

- Establish the wallpaper business from zero including planning, budgeting, and execution

- Define business model, target markets, and growth strategy

Product & Supplier Management

- Source international wallpaper suppliers and negotiate commercial terms

- Manage product selection including vinyl, non-woven, fabric, mural, and commercial wallpapers

- Oversee inventory planning and logistics

Sales & Business Development

- Develop sales strategy for residential, commercial, and project markets

- Build relationships with interior designers, architects, and contractors

- Prepare quotations, pricing structures, and project costing

Showroom & Brand Development

- Plan and set up wallpaper showroom(s)

- Coordinate marketing activities and brand positioning

Installation & Operations

- Recruit and manage wallpaper installation teams

- Ensure quality control and customer satisfaction

- Manage project execution and site coordination

Financial Management

- Prepare budgets and forecasts

- Monitor profitability, margins, and costs

- Report business performance to ownership

Team Leadership

- Hire, train, and manage sales, operations, and installation staff

- Set KPIs and performance standards

Compliance

- Ensure compliance with Kuwait labor, safety, and commercial regulations

Skills & Competencies :

- Strong leadership and decision-making skills

- Hands-on operational approach

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills

- Ability to build systems and teams from scratch

Authority & Ownership

- Full responsibility for daily operations

- Hiring authority and budget responsibility (with owner approval)

- Direct accountability for business success
