Role Overview
The Content Implementer (CI) plays a key role in creating, updating, and maintaining web content across enterprise digital platforms. This role involves working with CMS tools such as AEM, Edge Delivery Services (EDS) and Sanity, implementing and validating content using modern publishing workflows, and ensuring pixelperfect page experiences across devices. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in CMS workflows, HTML/CSS, UI validation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities and Day-to-Day View
- Build and publish new webpages using CMS tools such as AEM, preferable Edge Delivery Services (EDS) and Sanity, adhering to established digital design standards.
- Customize and implement HTML/CSS for page layouts, component styling, and UI enhancements.
- Interpret and validate JSON feed integrations, collaborate with CMS & FE developers to ensure correct data mapping and behaviour.
- Perform daily webpage updates, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with brand and UX guidelines.
- Author, update, and publish content using documentbased workflows (e.g., Google Docs / Word) in Edge Delivery Services environments, following defined content structure and block usage guidelines.
- Conduct end-to-end testing of webpages including, Component functionality, Cross-device responsiveness, UI/UX alignment, and Accessibility checks.
- Validate production URLs postdeployment for content accuracy, design fidelity, and user experience.
- Collaborate with development teams, designers, and project leads to clarify requirements and ensure successful releases.
- Support Agile processes, participate in scrums, and maintain documentation as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in content implementation using CMS platforms (AEM 6.4/6.5 & Edge Delivery Services).
- Strong understanding of web design principles and mid-level knowledge of UI/UX fundamentals.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JSON interpretation, CMS publishing workflows and Intermediate knowledge in JavaScript
- Ability to customize existing code and test UI components against functional requirements.
- Exposure to document-based content authoring and publishing workflows (e.g., Google Docs / Word) in Edge Delivery Services or similar CMS environments.
- Strong analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills.
- Flexible to work in 24/7 rotational shifts when required.
- Exposure to front-end development (JavaScript frameworks, responsive design).
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Familiarity with version control, digital asset workflows, and crossbrowser testing tools.
