Mandatory Pointers:

  • Education: Only commerce graduates (BCom/BBA/MBA/MCom)

Team Lead / Supervisor- Tax

  • University graduate with minimum of 15 years of education with Bachelors/Masters Degree in Commerce
  • CA / CPA / Qualified (5+ Years) Accountants or Intermediate Accountants required (6+Years)
  • Good Knowledge of Income Tax laws and tax concepts.
  • Proven people management skills
  • Experience on process simplification / transformation.
  • Strong team leading and motivational skills, performance reporting and tracking, derive performance improvement ideas
  • Fluency in English language
  • Meet/Ensure all the defined service levels agreed
  • Liaise and handle escalation calls and emails from business stakeholders.
  • First point of escalation
  • Responsible to drive process related automation & transformation through bottom up approach
  • Perform and act as SME day to day Tax activities with required speed and accuracy across various tax process such as VAT, Sales Tax and other
  • Identify and execute transformation projects
  • Act as single point of contact for client (for Operational issues)
  • Train team members on various processes and domain related requirements
  • Act as a knowledge manager (Documentation, updating, version control)
  • Ensure quality of the deliverables and adhering to SLAs
  • Deploy and monitor process controls, quality assurance plans and risk mitigation initiatives
  • Manage delivery of Tax services as per the agreement
  • Follow the documented procedures, understanding of Client processes, active team player with good communication and documentation skills

Support of continuous improvement initiatives with a view to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the Tax Compliance Process

Manager / Sr. Manager - Tax

  • Qualified CA with 8+years experience or Semi-qualified CA with 10+ Years experience
  • Good Knowledge of Indirect Tax for Multiple Countries (5+)
  • Strong in MS-Excel
  • Meet/Ensure all the defined service levels agreed
  • Liaise and handle escalation calls and emails from business stakeholders.
  • Track and measure customer feedback
  • Escalate issues to the Business Process Managers as needed
  • Responsible to drive process related automation & transformation through bottom up approach
  • Support end-to-end coordination of desk activities
  • Prepare for and coordinate the TCPT Indirect Tax Support Desk management and reporting
  • Lead stakeholder management including monthly / quarterly communication
  • Implement improvement Initiatives Support service management including individual / team performance against defined SLA's.
  • Oversee and review (or delegate review) of analyst's work as appropriate
  • Support continuous process improvement:

Provide single point interface for Client into respective process delivery matters

Responsible for delivering the agreed productivity benefits/gain share

Oversee and review (or delegate review) of analyst's work as appropriate

Confirm team members have appropriate training and background
