WAF Management 1

We are seeking a Network Security Senior Engineer / SME with 3-7 years of experience in Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls, Prisma Access, GlobalProtect, and VPN technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in network security, web security technologies, reporting automation, and ticketing tools. This role involves configuration, deployment, monitoring, user management, and optimization of network security solutions while leading complex security issue resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and deploy Prisma Access policies for user access control, security profiles, and network segmentation.
• Manage VPN gateways and tunnels to ensure secure remote access.
• Integrate Prisma Access with existing network and security infrastructure.
• Monitor network traffic, investigate security incidents, and respond to alerts.
• Implement security best practices and maintain Prisma Access policies.
• Create and manage user accounts, access levels, and authentication methods (SSO, MFA).
• Optimize network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and allocate bandwidth efficiently.
• Lead the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex network security issues involving next-gen firewalls.
• Determine security solutions and best practices by evaluating business requirements and integration challenges.
• Prepare system security reports and maintain updated network security architecture.
• Track emerging security practices, standards, and participate in educational/professional development opportunities.
• Enhance department reputation by taking ownership of new initiatives and adding value to security operations.
