WAF Engineer – Imperva / F5 ASM / A10 (L3 | VAPT & Policy Tuning)

Role Summary:
Looking for a hands-on WAF Engineer with strong experience in policy tuning, VAPT remediation, and production support across Imperva, F5 ASM/LTM, or A10 environments. This role is strictly for candidates who have actively configured, fine-tuned, and managed WAF solutions—not just monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily health check and signature updates of WAF/ADC platforms
- Monitor alerts, analyze true positives, and reduce false positives
- Perform WAF policy fine-tuning for live applications
- Handle VAPT findings and implement remediation at application & appliance level
- Manage SSL lifecycle (tracking, renewal, mapping) across domains
- Work on A10/F5 configurations: SLB, SSL mapping, VLAN creation
- Onboard new applications and troubleshoot production issues
- Perform WAF patching and integrate with security tools (SIEM, etc.)
- Provide L3 support, RCA, and customer advisory
- Mentor L1/L2 engineers and lead technical discussions with clients
- Conduct periodic service reviews with customers
Must-Have Skills (Strict Filter):
- Hands-on experience in at least one WAF:
- Imperva (On-Prem / Cloud)
- F5 ASM / LTM
- A10 WAF
- Strong in policy tuning & false positive handling
- Experience in VAPT remediation / security compliance
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, SSL, Load Balancing
- Proven experience in application onboarding & troubleshooting
Good to Have:
- Experience in MSSP / SOC environment
- Basic scripting (Shell/Python)
- SIEM/WAF integration exposure
