VTL & CNC setter

This is a full-time, on-site role for a VTL (Vertical Turret Lathe) Setter located in Coimbatore. The VTL Setter will be responsible for setting up and operating vertical turret lathes, ensuring machine precision and adherence to required specifications. Key responsibilities include programming and calibrating the machine, conducting quality checks, maintaining machinery for optimal performance, and adhering to safety protocols during operations. Collaboration with the engineering and production teams will also be part of the role, ensuring timely and accurate production of components.

• Experience with setting up and operating Vertical Turret Lathes (VTL) and CNC machining equipment
• Technical skills in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
• Knowledge of machine calibration, general maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques
• Understanding of quality control standards, precision measurement tools, and inspection processes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high levels of accuracy
• Basic problem-solving skills and ability to perform under minimal supervision
• Familiarity with workplace safety guidelines and adherence to standard procedures
• Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, or a related field preferred
• Previous experience in the automotive, aerospace, or similar industries is an advantage
