VP Technical & R&D

Our client is a leading Indian manufacturer of lubricants, greases, oils, and specialty petroleum products, Headquartered in Mumbai, with a strong presence across India and global markets.

We are looking for Vice President Technical & R&D will lead R&D, Technical Services, QC, and QA across India, ensuring product excellence, regulatory compliance, innovation, and customer satisfaction, with strong expertise in lubricants, greases, DEF, and global industry standards.

Role Responsibilities :

• Lead R&D and innovation for lubricants, greases, and DEF, including new product development, reformulations, scale-up, and commercialization in line with global standards.
• Provide technical leadership and customer support, including OEM approvals, field trials, complaint resolution, and technical documentation.
• Ensure strong Quality Control systems, standardized testing, SPC implementation, and laboratory accreditations across all locations.
• Drive Quality Assurance and QMS compliance (ISO, IATF, API, BIS, OEM), audits, supplier quality, and product consistency.
• Oversee regulatory and statutory compliance, including DEF norms, environmental, safety, and industry regulations.
• Must Have Experience

18+ years of progressive experience in lubricants and greases.

Minimum 810 years in a senior leadership role overseeing R&D and Quality functions.

Proven experience managing multi-plant, pan-India operations.

Strong exposure to OEM approvals, audits, and global quality standards.
