Job Description

Role Overview

Lead the technology and project management teams to develop and implement the organization's technology strategy and vision. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align business goals with technology projects, driving best practices and frameworks for project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Leadership

  • Lead technology and project teams in defining and executing the company's technology roadmap.
  • Partner with senior leadership to ensure technology initiatives support business objectives.
  • Establish and enforce project management best practices and methodologies.

Technology Project Oversight

  • Manage the full life-cycle of technology projects from initiation to delivery.
  • Prioritize, schedule, and allocate resources to projects in line with strategic goals.
  • Define and maintain project management processes, documentation, and tools.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build and mentor high-performing teams of project managers, technology leaders, and engineers.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven culture.
  • Ensure teams have necessary skills, tools, and resources.

Project Delivery Execution

  • Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of complex, large-scale projects.
  • Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure mitigation plans are effective.
  • Develop project roadmaps, timelines, resource plans, and budgets.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Act as primary contact for senior leadership and stakeholders on project status and risks.
  • Provide regular updates and presentations to executives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align expectations.

Risk Management & Problem Resolution

  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Resolve technical, financial, and resource challenges during execution.
  • Manage scope changes and communicate project impacts effectively.

Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Continuously enhance project management processes and methodologies.
  • Implement best practices for execution, resource management, and risk assessment.
  • Drive adoption of innovative tools and solutions to improve efficiency.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Oversee project budgets and resource allocation.
  • Ensure projects are completed within approved financial limits.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (required).
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

  • 10+ years in technology project management with at least 5 years in senior leadership/executive roles.
  • Proven success leading large-scale, complex technology projects across multiple domains.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and enterprise software implementations.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies and software development life-cycle.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong leadership and people management skills for diverse, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Trello).
  • Ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of current technology trends, tools, and industry solutions.
