VP/SVP, Go-To-Market & Product Commercialization (Payments)

My client is seeking a commercially minded Go-To-Market Strategy & Commercialisation leader to drive the successful market adoption of their payment solutions across multiple customer segments. This is a unique opportunity to establish and shape the organisation's product commercialisation and go-to-market capability. This individual contributor will bridge Product, Sales, Partnerships and Marketing to develop compelling go-to-market strategies, accelerate revenue growth, and strengthen market positioning.

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute end-to-end go-to-market strategies for payment products across key segments
• Define customer segmentation, ideal customer profiles, and target market priorities
• Lead cross-functional product launches, encompassing positioning, messaging, pricing, packaging, and commercial rollout
• Develop sales enablement materials including playbooks, competitive positioning, customer presentations, and solution messaging
• Partner closely with Sales Leadership to build healthy deal pipelines, improve conversion win-rates, and shorten sales cycles.
• Collaborate with strategic partners to identify joint growth opportunities
• Develop pricing and packaging strategies that support business objectives and optimise commercial performance
• Analyse market trends, customer needs and competitive activity to identify new growth opportunities

Requirements:

• Degree qualified with at least 12-15 years of experience in Commercial Strategy and Go-To-Market within the payments industry
• Deep functional understanding of payment flows, merchant acquiring, card schemes, payouts, FX, and embedded finance architectures
• Demonstrated success leading product launches and commercialisation initiatives
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact positively and professionally at all levels
