Job Description
- Champion best practices in software development, architecture, and quality assurance, promoting efficiency and excellence in engineering processes
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to continuously improve technological offerings
- Communicate effectively with executive leadership, providing regular updates, insights, and recommendations regarding engineering initiatives
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and other stakeholders to align engineering initiatives with business objectives
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Should be willing to get his hands dirty on coding if required
- Strong technical expertise in software development, architecture, and scalable systems, with proficiency in modern technologies and frameworks
- Proven track record of 10+ years in engineering leadership roles within the software development industry, preferably within consumer-tech ecosystem
- Passion for education, innovation, and driving positive change through technology
