Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and scale the stock brokerage division, setting strategic vision, revenue targets, and market expansion roadmaps across key Indian urban and semi-urban markets.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of relationship managers, trading advisors, and operations staff to drive client acquisition, retention, and AUM growth.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches (options, futures, IPOs, portfolio management services) and deepen penetration in retail and HNI segments.
- Partner with compliance, technology, and risk teams to ensure all brokerage activities adhere to SEBI, NSE, BSE, and internal governance frameworks.
- Drive digital transformation of client onboarding, trading experience, and post-trade servicing—leveraging CRM, analytics, and automation tools to improve conversion and NPS.
- Represent the firm at investor summits, channel partner meetings, and industry roundtables to elevate brand visibility and forge strategic alliances.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- SEBI Registered Stock Broker License
- NYSE/NSE/BSE Trading Platform Experience
- CRM Systems (Zoho, Salesforce, or similar)
- Equity Derivatives Trading
- Portfolio Management Services (PMS)
- Client Acquisition Strategy
- Team Leadership in Financial Services
- Regulatory Compliance – SEBI Framework
Preferred
- Experience with Robo-Advisory Platforms
- Knowledge of Mutual Fund Distribution Ecosystems
- FinTech Integration Experience (API-based trading, UPI, e-KYC)
