VP Sr Software Engineer || Global Bank || Pune
Job Description:
To design, develop and improve software, utilizing various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Accountabilities
- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
Skills:
- Strong experience leading full-stack engineering delivery, with hands-on expertise in Java-based microservices, APIs, and modern application architectures.
- Deep knowledge of DLT platforms (e.g., Hyperledger Besu / EVM-based networks) and blockchain architecture concepts.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying smart contracts (e.g., Solidity) with strong focus on security and lifecycle management.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Knowledge of payment systems, payments processing, including domestic and international payments, instant payments, and digital assets
- Knowledge of blockchain or distributed ledger technology (such as Ethereum) for secure transaction systems and how to integrate with them.
- Deep understanding of common design patterns, software engineering fundamentals, and best practices.
