VP - Senior Business Intelligence / Data Analytics

A large financial institution is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Specialist to join our Data & Analytics function. This role is ideal for a BI professional with deep experience in business intelligence, data platofmr, distributed processing, and advanced analytics within banking environments. You will design, build, and optimize BI solutions that enable regulatory reporting, risk analytics, customer insights, and enterprise decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of BI solutions, dashboards, and analytical models supporting business, risk, and regulatory functions.

• Partner with Data Engineering and Architecture teams to shape enterprise data models, optimize data pipelines, and ensure high‑quality, trusted data assets.

• Develop scalable BI frameworks leveraging modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Fabric, BigQuery).

• Implement cost governance strategies including tiered storage, lifecycle management, and workload isolation.

• Build advanced SQL/Python‑based analytics, including data profiling, validation, and transformation logic.

• Deliver high‑impact dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and QlikSense.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights and data‑driven recommendations.

Technical Skills & Experience

• Min 10 years of experience in IT with min 5 years working with enterprise Data Analytics solution

• Experience working in IT project lifecycles
• Excellent analytical skills
• Min 5 years of experience working in banking / financial institutions (Risk, analytics)
• BI & visualization tools: including Power BI, QlikSense, Tableau
• Enterprise data platforms
• Good expertise in SQL
