Channel Exposure Required: HoReCa, MT, GT, Strategic Sales

Reporting To Managing Director / CEO

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented VP Sales & Marketing to lead the overall sales and marketing function for our lamb and meat products business in New Zealand. The candidate should have strong experience in HoReCa, Modern Trade (MT), General Trade (GT), and Strategic Sales along with excellent marketing and business development capabilities within the food industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales & marketing strategies to drive business growth and market expansion.
  • Handle key business channels including HoReCa, MT, GT, distributors, and institutional sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, retailers, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities in domestic and export markets.
  • Lead brand positioning, product promotions, pricing strategy, and market penetration initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer demand to improve business performance.
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, and achievement of sales targets.
  • Manage and mentor regional sales and marketing teams.
  • Coordinate with production, supply chain, and quality teams for smooth business operations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, MIS reports, and business presentations for management review.

Required Skills & Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of HoReCa, Modern Trade (MT), General Trade (GT), and Strategic Sales.
  • Excellent understanding of FMCG / frozen food / meat products market.
  • Strong marketing, branding, and business development skills.
  • Expertise in channel sales management and key account handling.
  • Good negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to drive business expansion and distributor network development.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Proven track record in sales growth and market expansion.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are mandatory.

Qualification

  • MBA in Sales & Marketing / Business Management preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Technology, or related field.

Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in Sales & Marketing leadership roles within FMCG / Food Industry.
  • Minimum 5 years in senior management role preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are mandatory

Salary :-35 to 40 LPA

Job Locations:-Mumbai /Delhi.
