We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Vice President Sales for the Unlisted Market segment. The role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, leading high-value client acquisition, building strategic partnerships, managing large-ticket transactions, and strengthening the company's position in the unlisted shares and pre-IPO market.
The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of unlisted equities, startup investments, pre-IPO opportunities, ESOP liquidity, PMS/AIF products, and HNI/UHNI investor behavior.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue Growth
- Drive overall sales strategy and business growth for the unlisted market segment.
- Build and execute quarterly and annual revenue plans.
- Generate high-value business from HNI, UHNI, Family Offices, Wealth Managers, Brokers, and Institutional Investors.
- Lead large-ticket transactions in unlisted shares, pre-IPO opportunities, and alternate investment products.
- Identify new revenue opportunities across sectors and investor categories.
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with HNIs, UHNIs, founders, CXOs, startup promoters, wealth managers, and family offices.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential investors and clients.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and investment discussions with prospective clients.
- Ensure high client retention and repeat business through relationship-driven sales.
- Handle key strategic accounts and large investors personally.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team handling unlisted market products.
- Define KPIs, targets, and performance standards for the team.
- Conduct regular sales reviews, pipeline discussions, and coaching sessions.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on revenue generation, compliance, and customer experience.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and capability building of the sales team.
Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
- Develop partnerships with wealth management firms, brokers, RIAs, distributors, startup networks, and investor communities.
- Explore tie-ups with financial institutions, family offices, and channel partners.
- Identify new business channels and geographic markets for expansion.
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to launch campaigns and investor engagement initiatives.
Market Intelligence & Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on unlisted market trends, startup valuations, IPO pipeline, regulatory updates, and investor sentiment.
- Maintain strong understanding of key unlisted companies, sectors, and investment opportunities.
- Provide market feedback to management on client expectations, pricing trends, and competitor activities.
- Track performance of listed peers and future IPO candidates.
