VP - Regulatory Change Management - 12+ Years - Mumbai

An exciting opportunity for a VP - Project Manager (Regulatory & Sustainability Change) to lead complex regulatory initiatives within the Asset Management domain. The role involves end-to-end ownership of regulatory change projects, ensuring delivery against strict regulatory timelines while working with cross-functional teams across technology, operations, and business functions.

Location - Mumbai.

Responsibilities -

1. Lead and manage the full end-to-end lifecycle delivery of medium to highly complex regulatory change projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
2. Define and manage the business case, project objectives, scope, resources and expected benefits for assigned initiatives.
3. Act as the primary delivery owner ensuring alignment across stakeholders and teams across geographies.
4. Develop and maintain high-quality project plans including risk mitigation strategies and structured work packages.
5. Evaluate delivery approaches, track performance and adjust plans to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, budget and project outcomes.
6. Provide forecasts of future change and BAU resource requirements required to support project delivery.

Requirements -

1. Graduate in any discipline with strong project management experience.
2. PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent project management certification.
3. Proven experience delivering regulatory change projects within Asset Management environments.
4. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as AIFMD, MiFID, PRIIPs, Shareholder Reporting, SFDR/SDR and EMIR.
5. Experience working with asset management platforms, vendor systems and external data providers.
6. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior leadership and cross-functional teams across regions.
