Title: VP of Engineering

A client is seeking a VP of Engineering India (Hyderabad). Using an AInative engineering model, you will reshape how enterprise software is built and India is central to that transformation.
This role is for a Senior Engineering Leader who wants to build and scale something that truly matters, not maintain the status quo.
Must Have:
- Proven experience scaling engineering teams in India
- Strong technical foundation you started as an engineer and still think like one, but have grown into a business athlete
- Track record leading organizational change (growth, mergers, culture shifts)
- Comfortable owning budgets, P&L, and making real tradeoffs
- Builder mindset: you value impact, velocity, and quality over process and tickets
Day-to-Day:
- Lead and scale a 100+ engineer organization in India with large team growth initiatives
- Merge two teams/locations into one highperforming, unified engineering team
- Own engineering execution across Dev, QA, Data, and DevOps
- Set the bar for a new builderfirst, outcomedriven engineering culture
- Partner directly with the CTO and global leaders on architecture, tooling, and delivery
- Own India engineering P&L, hiring strategy, and operational execution
