Purpose of the role
To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- 14+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java development, with deep expertise in Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, and cloud-based deployments.
- Strong UI development skills using React JS.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle).
- Experience in building cloud native Java backend components at enterprise grade either based on Open Shift or AWS.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation projects in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Basic understanding of Camunda BPM for workflow orchestration and process automation. Familiarity with BPMN 2.0 for designing workflows
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in designing and implementing case management or workflow automation systems.
