We are seeking a VP of IT to provide strategic leadership and operational excellence for our global IT department. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will be responsible for the stability, security, and efficiency of the organization's IT systems. This role requires a professional with a deep understanding of IT operations, proven experience in managing large-scale, high-availability environments, and the ability to align IT strategy with overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Drive global IT operations by focusing on stakeholder alignment and service excellence. You will translate the business vision into executable IT strategies and provide technical and operational leadership to a high-impact team.
- Governance & Compliance: Own IT infrastructure governance, ensuring compliance with global security frameworks and regulatory mandates like SOX and ISO. You will partner with cross-functional teams to define, enforce, and evolve IT policies and governance processes.
- Team & Talent Management: Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-impact IT team. You will embed VES (Veralto Enterprise System) principles by setting performance metrics and fostering a feedback culture to drive continuous improvement.
- Budgeting & Vendor Management: Own the global IT budgeting and investment planning. You will also negotiate and manage strategic vendor partnerships to ensure both cost efficiency and high service value.
- Operational Excellence: Continuously assess IT performance against industry benchmarks. You will be adept at navigating high-availability environments and managing incident response at scale.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is required. A Master's or MBA is preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive leadership in IT operations, with demonstrated global team and budget accountability. You should have a proven ability to lead large-scale IT transformations in complex enterprise environments.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and compliance. You must also be skilled in incident response and the management of high-availability systems.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional stakeholder engagement and change leadership across global functions. Strong communication, negotiation, and executive presence are essential.
- Mobility: You must be willing and able to travel internationally on a regular basis.
This position is located in either Bangalore, India, or Ghent, Belgium.
