Job Description

We are looking for an experienced VP, Global Payment Solutions Operations. In this role, you will own and drive delivery of operational change initiatives, including industry and internal projects, ensuring controlled governance and on-time implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operations for processes such as Payments, Cheques, Screening, Time Deposits, and Account Maintenance, ensuring transactions are authorized within delegated limits.
  • Consistently deliver agreed SLAs, maintaining high service levels, timely execution, and positive customer outcomes.
  • Own and drive the delivery of operational change initiatives, including industry and internal projects, ensuring controlled governance and on-time implementation.
  • Build proactive engagement with internal customers and senior stakeholders across in-country and global teams to enhance service performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee outsourced activities, ensuring service performance aligns with contractual and operational standards, and implement workflow/process improvements to enhance quality and productivity.
  • Maintain robust controls, audit/regulatory readiness, and manage operational risk by monitoring exceptions, ensuring timely remediation, and activating contingency plans..

Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of relevant leadership experience in operations and processing within operations environment.
  • Strong operational management skills, including SLA delivery, capacity planning, productivity and cost management, and a continuous improvement mindset (Lean).
  • In-depth understanding of operational risk, controls, audit, and compliance requirements in a regulated banking environment, with familiarity with policy standards.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of influencing across functions, regions, and with external or industry counterparts.
  • Proven people leadership abilities, including coaching, performance management, training needs assessment, and fostering a high-morale, collaborative team culture.
  • Resilient self-starter with the ability to drive performance, often in ill-defined or new domains, including virtual and remote work environments.
