Designation: VP – Finance Controller

Foxtale is a fast-growing D2C skincare brand focused on high-performance products and a strong consumer-first approach. As we scale rapidly across channels, we are looking for a VP – Finance Controller to bring in financial discipline, robust governance, and scalable processes. This role will lead controllership, drive cost and commercial efficiency, and partner closely with business teams to enable data-backed, sustainable growth in a high-velocity environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Controllership & Governance
- Build and institutionalize robust internal controls, SOPs, and governance frameworks
- Drive risk identification and mitigation across key business processes
- Ensure strong control across revenue, procurement, inventory, and payment cycles
- Maintain high standards of policy compliance and audit readiness
- Drive governance on key metrics: inventory, receivables, payables, GRIR, and balance reconciliations
- Ensure data integrity and reconciliation discipline across systems
GRC & Audit
- Coordinate Internal audits as per calendar — planning, execution and closure
- Track and ensure timely closure of audit observations
- Strengthen Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) practices across functions
- Drive IFC agendas including updating and enforcement of RACM
Process Excellence & Automation
- Own ERP governance, including access controls and process discipline
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives
Requirements:
- CA with 6-10 years of experience in controllership / commercial finance / audit
- Experience in D2C / FMCG / retail / consumer brands preferred
- Hands-on with ERP systems and process automation
- Ability to operate in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
