Our client, a well- established global investment bank is expanding their business in APAC and is looking for a VP – Change Management, Project Manager to join them.
Job Responsibilities:
- Management of change projects within the organisation, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the required quality standards.
- In charge of developing and managing project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for change projects.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to ensure that they are informed about project progress and that their needs and expectations are being met.
- Management of project teams, ensuring that they are properly resourced and that they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver on project objectives.
- Management of project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within the agreed budget.
- Creation of reports on project progress to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Management of project risks, ensuring that risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies are identified, assessed, and mitigated as necessary.
- Facilitation of change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure that change projects are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
Skills/ Requirements:
- Possess a bachelor's degree in technology, engineering, finance, business or a related field.
- Have at least 12 years of experience working in the financial service industry and at least 6 years of experience working in project management
- Prior experience delivering complex business and technology change projects in an Investment Bank environment involving front to back, cross functional teams. Ideally covering investment banking/global markets business (markets products knowledge in FX, Rates, Equities, Commodities etc)
- Excellent verbal and written communication with ability to distil information into key messages and present succinctly and confidently to a senior audience.
- Self-starter with ability to identify and engage stakeholders, prioritize activities to deliver to tight deadlines and multi-task across a diverse book of work in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience utilizing varied project methodologies (e.g. Waterfall and Agile) is advantageous
