Position Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and business-focused VP/AVP, People Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across our People/HR function. This role will be responsible for analyzing workforce data, developing dashboards and reports, identifying trends, and delivering actionable insights that support talent strategy, workforce planning, retention, and employee experience initiatives.The ideal candidate has strong experience in people analytics, business analysis, Power BI, Python, and project management, and can translate complex workforce data into meaningful business recommendations for HR and organizational leaders.

Head of Human Resources Information Systems, Asia Pacific Division with matrix reporting to Global Head of Reporting and Analytics
Data Analysis & Insights
- Analyze workforce and HR data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to hiring, retention, engagement, performance, and workforce planning.
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to HR leaders and business stakeholders.
- Support recurring and ad hoc analysis across key people metrics, including headcount, turnover, internal mobility, span of control, and diversity metrics.
- Conduct root cause analysis to explain workforce trends and business impacts.
Reporting & Dashboard Development
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports.
- Develop standardized reporting for HR leadership and business partners.
- Create data visualizations and executive-ready summaries that clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and usability of reports and dashboards.
Technical Analytics Support
- Use Python to clean, transform, analyze, and automate people data processes.
- Work with large datasets from HRIS, survey tools, ATS, and other people systems.
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance efforts.
- Partner with Data Management, HRIS, and IT teams to improve data pipelines and reporting capabilities.
Project Management
- Representing APAC in the global HRIS transformation project, lead and support people analytics projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations are met.
- Manage multiple analytics initiatives simultaneously, prioritizing work based on business impact and organizational needs across global and regional teams.
- Coordinate with HR, IT and business stakeholders to ensure project alignment, data availability, and successful implementation.
- Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and outcomes, providing regular updates to leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery, documentation, and analytics processes.
Stakeholder Partnership
- Collaborate with HR COE, IT and business leaders to understand analytics needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into reporting and analytics deliverables.
- Present findings to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and business-relevant way.
- Help promote a data-driven culture across the People function.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in business analysis, people analytics, workforce analytics, HR reporting, or business intelligence.
- Strong experience with Power BI for dashboard development and reporting.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and manipulation.
- Experience working with HR data and workforce metrics.
- Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into analytics solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with statistical methods and predictive analytics.
- Experience supporting HR, People Analytics, or workforce planning functions.
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications in analytics, BI tools, HR systems, or project management.
