Job Description

About Cuemath :

Cuemath is on a mission to make every child MathFit, a confident math thinker. Our interactive 1:1 online classes go beyond memorization, helping kids truly understand the why behind the what through step-by-step problem solving, real-world applications, and personalized learning journeys. We are trusted by parents in 80+ countries, with a rapidly growing base. Backed by leading global investors, we are redefining what it means to be great at math in today's world.

Every family's journey with Cuemath begins with a conversation: understanding where their child is in math, what is holding them back, and the path that will help them thrive. We are looking for a leader to own that conversation and the team behind it. You will lead a team of academic advisors, raise the craft of how they guide each family, and own how well those conversations help children find the right path. This is a senior leadership role, not a sales desk: you set the standard, you lift your people by listening to their real conversations, and you own the outcome.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead a team of academic advisors and bring out the best in each of them, through hands-on coaching and a shared, rising standard
  • Own the 1:1 conversation as a craft: shape how it should go, then keep improving it as you learn what truly helps a family decide
  • Treat data as your product: live in the numbers behind every conversation, and let them show you what is working and what to fix
  • Run the team's rhythm of reviews, calibration, and continuous improvement
  • Carry the parent's perspective back into the business, partnering with the academics and product teams to make the experience and the product better
  • Own the outcome: how well these conversations help families find the right path for their child

What We Are Looking For :

  • A strong academic foundation: a degree in mathematics, a STEM field, education, economics, or psychology, ideally from a well-regarded institution. Having taught or tutored math yourself is a real advantage.
  • 8+ years in education, academic counseling, or admissions, with at least 3 of them leading and coaching a team. This is a leadership role, not an individual sales desk.
  • A genuine coach: you lift a team by listening to their real conversations and changing how they work, not by setting targets alone.
  • Real comfort with school math and how children learn, enough to judge the quality of a learning conversation.
  • You win trust through insight and clarity, never pressure. This is a coaching and education role, not a sales desk.
  • Comfort with numbers and the instinct to build, not just run. You lead from what the calls and the data tell you.
