Key Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle of voyage operations including pre-fixture and post-fixture activities
- Perform voyage estimation, freight calculations, and TCE analysis
- Plan and monitor voyages to ensure optimal vessel performance and profitability
- Coordinate effectively with shipowners, charterers, brokers, agents, and vessel crew
- Handle laytime calculations, demurrage/despatch, and prepare hire statements
- Manage freight invoicing and ensure timely and accurate billing
- Review and interpret charter party agreements and Incoterms
- Handle claims, disputes, and ensure proper documentation and resolution
- Appoint port agents and bunker brokers as per voyage requirements
- Prepare and review fixture notes and recap documentation
- Monitor voyage P&L and provide commercial insights
