Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Volunteer & On-Ground Research/Event Manager based in New Delhi. The role involves coordinating and managing volunteer activities, conducting on-ground research related to our projects, and collaborating with local communities to identify their needs. Responsibilities include designing and executing community outreach programs, monitoring project progress, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring effective communication between stakeholders. In addition, the manager will be responsible for overseeing the engagement and productivity of volunteers to achieve the organization's objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage volunteers and ensure smooth project execution
  • Proficiency in research and data collection techniques to gather and analyze community needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to address challenges and implement innovative solutions
  • Passion for social impact, with prior experience in education, healthcare, or environmental projects preferred
  • Flexibility to work in various on-ground conditions and adaptability to different environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field; prior experience in non-profit or similar roles is advantageous
