VOIP/ Telephony – Senior Technical Manager
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in software development with a focus on C++ and VOIP technologies.
- At least 7 years of experience in a technical management role, leading development teams (30+ members) in an Agile environment.
Work Location:- Pune/ Bangalore
- Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) for multiple projects, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable software solutions, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code.
- Experience in managing large distributed and vendor teams
- Bring deep knowledge of VOIP technologies (such as SIP, RTP, WebRTC, and IP Telephony) and ensure that best practices are followed in designing and implementing VOIP-related features.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, with expertise in UC and VOIP technologies.
- Drive and champion the adoption of Agile/Scrum practices within the development team.
- Collaborate with PLM and stakeholders to ensure clear and effective communication of project requirements and priorities.
- Ensure timely delivery of product increments by removing obstacles and ensuring continuous improvement of team performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product Management, QA, Operations) to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Oversee architecture, deployment, and support of Avaya systems (IP Office and IPO 500V3 Solutions)
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity for voice and contact centre services
- Manage VoIP infrastructure including SIP, SBCs, gateways, and carrier integrations
- Drive performance optimization, capacity planning, and system upgrades
