VOIP Engineer III

We are seeking an experienced VOIP Engineer III to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VoIP technology and be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our VoIP systems to ensure high availability and performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and manage VoIP systems and networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve VoIP-related issues and outages.
• Configure and maintain VoIP hardware and software, including IP phones, gateways, and PBX systems.
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability of VoIP services.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate VoIP solutions with existing systems and applications.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users and other IT staff as needed.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 5-10 years of experience in VoIP engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols such as SIP, RTP, and H.323.
• Experience with VoIP systems and technologies, including Asterisk, Cisco Call Manager, or Avaya.
• Proficiency in network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and clients.
