Our client is an agentic AI platform for financial services. Since launching, they're live with large enterprises across the US, Europe, and APAC and growing at double digits per month.

They are backed by world-class investors, including Y Combinator, Tribe Capital, PayPal, Picus Capital, & Hashed.

About the role:

They are looking for a voice AI engineer to help shape the company's tech, product, and culture. They are currently working with a bunch of enterprise customers and banks, and are experiencing rapid growth. They are looking to hire mid to senior engineers who can take their V1 into a more scaleable, robust platform as they prepare for more growth.

What to expect:

You can expect to do all of the following:

1. Build large-scale agents for voice and chats for enterprises
2. Evaluate multiple models for VAD, turn detection, interrupt handling, etc.
3. Handle MLOps to ensure low-latency responses
4. Clean, prune, and collect datasets to analyze model performance, hallucination rates, recall, etc.
5. Research and implement SOTA approaches for knowledge graphs and Graph RAGs
6. Run evals

About you:

1. We expect you to have built things from 0 to 1 or 1 to 10 (which is typically an early or growth stage startup)
2. Experience with voice AI is mandatory. You should have built and taken voice AI agents to production, run monitoring, and made improvements. You should have worked with frameworks such as Pipecat and Livekit.
3. We expect you to have an extremely strong bias toward action, strong motivation, side projects, and to have built and/or scaled systems from scratch.
