JOB DESCRIPTION VOCATIONAL INSTRUCTOR

1. Role Summary
The Vocational Instructor is responsible for assessing students abilities, delivering skill-based training, and supporting their overall development through structured vocational programs.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Assess students learning abilities, interests, and skill levels

• Plan and deliver vocational skill training sessions

• Provide hands-on practical training to enhance employability skills

• Track and evaluate student progress regularly

• Maintain proper documentation, including progress reports and training records

• Manage student behavior and ensure a positive learning environment

3. Additional Responsibilities

• Adapt training methods based on individual student needs

• Encourage participation and skill development

• Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team when required

  
  
  

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in vocational training or special education

Qualification in DVR / B.Ed / D.Ed in Special Education

RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) certification is mandatory

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
