Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced VMware Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong expertise in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and enterprise storage platforms including SAN and vSAN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting large-scale virtualized infrastructure environments while ensuring high availability, performance, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments.
- Administer and optimize VMware clusters, resource pools, HA, DRS, and vMotion.
- Manage enterprise storage solutions including SAN, NAS, and VMware vSAN.
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure optimization.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex virtualization, storage, and infrastructure issues.
- Upgrade and patch VMware infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with application, network, cloud, and security teams.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerCLI and PowerShell.
- Ensure compliance with security, operational, and governance standards.
- Provide L3/L4 support and technical guidance to operations teams.
