Assist in the routine maintenance of servers and applications in the company's data center. This maintenance includes, but is not limited to the following core areas
Monitoring
Performance Optimization
Trouble shooting issues and
Regular Backups
Security related to Server infra.
Create New VMs and its related management activities
Implement and manage containers and infra related to it
Provide support to users (business users as well as other IT team members) on usage of the company's systems.
Participate in new technology evaluation and prototyping exercises.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new hardware and applications at any Asian Paints Location
100% uptime of IT infrastructure at Datacenter & other sites using upgrades & regular maintenance activity as needed
Manage Resiliency for Productive Environments using Proper Backup System, Updates, Security(AV) & Disaster Recovery.
Manage cloud infrastructure (GCP, Azure, AWS)
Broad technology areas would include administration of Operating Systems, Databases, Applications, Virtualization, Cloud, Replication technologies and Storage.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 yr of work experience in the areas of database administration or systems administration is essential.
