Role Overview

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on:

• Solution design and validation
• Running proof-of-concepts (POCs)
• Supporting enterprise modernization initiatives
• Deploying and optimizing VMware Aria Suite environments

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in VMware Automation technologies and strong experience working directly with enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, deployment, and optimization of VMware Aria Suite and SaltStack
• Install, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot, and customize:
• Aria Operations
• Aria Operations for Logs
• Aria Operations for Networks
• Aria Automation
• Aria Lifecycle Manager (LCM)
• Design private and hybrid cloud solutions
• Build multi-site architectures and disaster recovery strategies
• Develop custom workflows and blueprints in Aria Automation
• Integrate Aria Automation / Aria Orchestrator using REST APIs
• Integrate VMware solutions with NSX and third-party platforms
• Create dashboards, compliance policies, reports, and monitoring views
• Lead workshops, technical discussions, and customer presentations
• Mentor junior consultants and support pre-sales activities
• Implement CI/CD and automation best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of VMware infrastructure experience
• Expert-level VMware Aria Suite administration and automation experience
• Strong expertise in:
• VMware Aria Suite
• SaltStack
• REST API integrations
• NSX integrations
• Micro-segmentation
• Automation and orchestration
• Experience with tools like:
• Ansible
• Terraform
• Puppet
• AWX
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

Preferred

• Customer-facing consulting or architecture experience
• Experience delivering enterprise modernization initiatives
