Description
We are seeking a skilled VMC Setter and HMC Setter to join our manufacturing team in India. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up and operating CNC machining centers to produce high-quality components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, technical specifications, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines to produce precision components as per specifications.
- Set up and operate HMC (Horizontal Machining Center) machines ensuring quality and efficiency in production.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to determine machining processes.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve machining processes and efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-10 years of experience in operating VMC and HMC machines.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of G-code and M-code programming languages.
- Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a machining environment.
