VMC Programmer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute programs for VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines.
• Operate and monitor VMC machines to ensure efficient production.
• Create and optimize machining programs using SOLIDCAM software.
• Select and manage appropriate rotating tools and VMC cutting tools.
• Utilize MS Office tools for reporting, documentation, and production tracking.
• Implement process improvements such as cycle time reduction and machine runtime optimization.
• Work on reducing tooling costs and improving overall machining efficiency.
• Define and optimize cutting tool parameters for maximum productivity.
• Conduct setter training and contribute to team skill development.
• Ensure quality output while maintaining safety and operational standards.

Requirements

• :Strong hands-on experience in VMC programming and operations
• .Proficiency in SOLIDCAM software is mandatory
• .Good knowledge of VMC cutting tools and machining parameters
• .Understanding of cycle time reduction and productivity improvement techniques
• .Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• .Educational qualification: ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
• .Strong problem-solving and team collaboration skills
