Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Solan for a VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Operator. The VMC Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating vertical machining centers to produce parts according to provided specifications and blueprints. Daily tasks will include machine programming, tool selection, quality inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role involves troubleshooting machine issues, maintaining production efficiency, and collaborating with the team to meet production targets.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and programming VMC machines
- Knowledge of interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Experience in quality inspections and using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
- Understanding of CNC programming and toolpath creation
- Basic technical problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues
- Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Prior experience as a VMC Operator or in precision manufacturing is preferred
- Any relevant certifications in machine operation or CNC programming will be advantageous
