Key Responsibilities
- Operate VMC machines as per production requirements.
- Understand basic engineering drawings and machining dimensions.
- Load and unload components safely on the machine.
- Set tools, fixtures, and job workpieces as per instructions.
- Perform basic machine settings and offset correction.
- Ensure proper machining quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.
- Maintain proper machine cleanliness and daily housekeeping.
- Check component quality during and after machining.
- Coordinate with supervisor, programmer, and production team for smooth work execution.
- Follow safety instructions while working on the machine.
- Report machine issues, tool breakage, or job-related problems immediately.
