Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a VMC (Vertical Machining Center) & CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Siemens Operator based in Karjat. The role involves operating VMC and CNC machines to produce components per specified designs and standards, ensuring precision and quality. Responsibilities include setting up machinery, performing machining and milling tasks, quality control checks, and maintaining the equipment for smooth operation while adhering to safety protocols and production timelines.

Job Role

• Proficiency in Machine Operation and Machinery handling
• Strong skills in Machining and Milling processes
• Experience in Quality Control procedures to ensure products meet specifications
• Understanding of VMC and CNC machine programming and operation is highly desirable
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in machining or mechanical engineering preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing unit, especially in non-ferrous metal products, is a plus.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts.

Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent vocational training.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using precision measuring instruments.

Experience

•  Minimum 4+ years of proven experience specifically in CNC and VMC operation.
