Job Description

Primary Title: Head of Sales (VLSI / Semiconductor)

About The Opportunity

A growth-focused firm operating in the semiconductor and VLSI solutions sector, delivering IP, design services, and system-level integration for fabless semiconductor customers and OEM partners. We serve enterprise customers across embedded, consumer, telecom, and industrial verticals and are scaling commercial operations across India.

Location: India (On-site)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the India sales strategy for VLSI, ASIC and IP solutions to achieve revenue, margin and market-share targets.
  • Own end-to-end enterprise sales cycles: prospecting, technical qualification, RFQ/RFP response, commercial negotiation and deal closure.
  • Manage and grow key accounts and strategic partnerships with fabless companies, OEMs, and channel partners; secure multi-year contracts.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering to shape customer-driven roadmaps, lead presales technical engagement, and ensure smooth handover to delivery teams.
  • Build, mentor and scale a high-performance sales team across direct and channel motions; set KPIs, pipeline governance and forecast accuracy processes.
  • Drive sales operations excellenceCRM hygiene, pricing discipline, contract governance, competitive intelligence and P&L accountability.

Qualifications (Hiring Criteria)

  • Proven track record of leading semiconductor/VLSI sales teams and closing enterprise-level deals in India or APAC.
  • Demonstrated ability to build channel partnerships and manage complex procurement cycles with OEMs and large engineering organisations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience owning forecasts, pricing and contract negotiations.
