Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate BI Business Analyst to join our Analytics & BI - Delivery department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in understanding and translating business needs into actionable data-driven solutions. Your expertise will enable our technical teams to develop powerful dashboards, reports, and analytics tools, ultimately driving better decision-making and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of stakeholder needs.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights, and present findings to business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with technical BI teams to design and develop dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions that meet business requirements.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by implementing robust data validation processes.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing BI solutions, addressing any issues or enhancements required.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in BI and data visualization, and propose innovative solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of BI projects, meeting defined milestones and quality standards.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback to refine and improve BI solutions.
- Prepare and present regular reports on BI project progress, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar BI Business Analyst role, preferably in a consulting or technology services company.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present insights clearly.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience in Agile project management methodologies is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices and design principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
