We are seeking a Visual Systems & Rendering Architect to lead the development of next-generation visual generation platforms that convert structured inputs, text prompts, and data models into polished, production-grade graphics. This role combines computational graphics, systems engineering, and AI-assisted design automation to power scalable visual creation experiences.
You will be responsible for architecting intelligent rendering systems and layout engines capable of generating high-quality visuals in real time for a rapidly expanding user base. Key Responsibilities
Scalable Visual Generation Architecture
Architect and scale distributed pipelines for automated visual generation.
Design robust systems that transform structured data and text inputs into dynamic graphics.
Build infrastructure capable of handling high-concurrency rendering workloads.
Ensure reliability, efficiency, and scalability across the visual generation lifecycle.
Intelligent Layout & Design Automation
Develop advanced layout engines for diagrams, structured visual flows, and data-driven graphics.
Translate qualitative design principles into programmable layout logic.
Integrate AI-powered systems to enhance layout decision-making and design adaptability.
Optimize design consistency through reusable visual primitives and layout constraints.
Rendering & Performance Engineering
Design high-performance rendering systems optimized for latency, throughput, and resource efficiency.
Implement caching layers, incremental rendering strategies, and parallel processing techniques.
Balance vector and raster rendering strategies based on quality, performance, and output requirements.
Continuously monitor and refine rendering efficiency across large-scale deployments.
Visual Framework & Component Development
Build modular graphic component libraries and scalable template systems.
Develop structured visual tokens and reusable style frameworks to maintain consistency.
Ensure seamless support for SVG, Canvas, and other browser-based rendering technologies.
Establish standards for extensible and maintainable visual infrastructure.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with product, UX, and AI teams to define system capabilities aligned with user needs.
Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and architectural decisions.
Provide technical mentorship and contribute to engineering best practices.
Candidate Profile
Required Experience
5+ years of experience in graphics programming using Python, C++, or similar languages.
Strong background in rendering systems, layout engines, and visualization frameworks.
Deep expertise in SVG-based graphics generation and optimization techniques.
Experience building scalable, performance-sensitive systems handling concurrent workloads.
Strong understanding of browser graphics technologies (SVG DOM, Canvas API, WebGL).
Proven ability to convert subjective visual quality expectations into measurable technical metrics.
Preferred Experience
Exposure to AI/ML integration for layout automation, generative graphics, or design intelligence.
Experience building data visualization platforms or structured diagramming tools.
Knowledge of performance profiling and distributed systems optimization.
Familiarity with both vector and raster image workflows and their performance trade-offs.
