Urban Company started out as UrbanClap in Nov 2014, when its founders, Abhiraj, Raghav and Varun realized that the home services industry was predominantly unorganized, fragmented and offline. Customers found it difficult to avail quality services in a convenient manner, and service professionals were struggling to make ends meet, having to rely upon several middlemen, contractors, and local aggregators. The founders felt that the industry was ripe for disruption, and launched Urban Company, with three key principles in mind-

Role summary

We're hiring an AI Visual Systems Builder to create a category-wide synthetic GenAi engine:

1. A static imagery library across all services (AC, Salon, Massage, Repairs, Revamp, Painting, etc.) featuring professionals, homes, customers, and scenarios in consistent, on-brand styles.
2. A modular video-clip library generated from that static bank: short, stitchable clips that can be assembled into high-velocity performance marketing videos.

This role sits within the Brand & Content team, and will work closely with the GTM team to build the library, taxonomy, and the quality gates so output is high-quality, reliable, and scalable

What you will do

1. Build and maintain repeatable generation workflows for each category (freepik/weavy or similar)
2. Produce and refresh the asset bank with weekly/monthly release cycles
3. Create editable templates that make assembly fast and consistent
4. Convert static scenes to modular clips; designed for performance marketing edits
5. Partner with performance marketing to translate learnings into new modules and variants
6. Maintain the library: tagging hygiene, version control, de-duplication, quality standards
7. Create launch kits for new categories/sub-services: imagery + clips + templates + variants

Ideal Candidate profile:

You're a combo of taste + systems + execution. An ideal candidate must have:

1. Strong visual taste: composition, lighting, realism, clear distinction between what looks premium vs fake
2. Hands-on GenAI visual production at volume (not just experiments)
3. Ability to design repeatable pipelines (prompt packs, templates, modular systems)
4. Video sensibility: can create short, stitchable clips designed for performance edits
5. Organized operator: naming, tagging, versioning, documenation

Great-to-have

1. Automation skills (Zapier/scripts/APIs) to batch, tag, export and scale
2. Comfort with Figma + Adobe (or equivalents); familiarity with AI video tooling
3. Experience in performance creative environments where velocity + learning matter

1. A repeatable GenAI production system (vs. one off prompts): a documented, reusable set of workflows that reliably produce quality outputs across categories, through prompt packs, templates, controls, and style tokens.

Tools you'll use

1. Freepik Spaces (or similar) for consistent generation flows
2. Figma for layout systems + templates; Adobe or equivalents for finishing
3. AI video tools for motion from stills and modular clip generation
4. Automation tooling for batch production, export, tagging, and file hygiene
