Role Purpose
The Manager – Visual Merchandising will be responsible for driving impactful visual merchandising execution across EBO, MBO, and regional stores while ensuring alignment with brand standards, seasonal launches, retail space optimization, and customer experience enhancement. The role requires strong expertise in regional floor execution, VM planning, space mapping, in-store communication, and team capability development.
Key Responsibilities / KRAs & KPIs
1. New Season Launch Planning & Regional Floor Execution
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute seasonal VM launches across regions in alignment with brand guidelines.
- Ensure timely implementation of window displays, mannequin styling, and floor setups.
- Coordinate with regional teams for smooth launch execution.
- Monitor launch readiness and execution quality across stores.
KPIs / Key Deliverables:
- 100% on-time seasonal launch execution across assigned stores.
- VM implementation audit score achievement as per company benchmark.
- Reduction in launch execution delays and VM deviations.
- Consistent regional execution as per approved VM guidelines.
2. EBO, MBO & Regional VM Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage VM execution across Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) and Multi Brand Outlets (MBOs).
- Conduct regular store visits and VM audits.
- Ensure visual consistency across all retail formats.
- Coordinate with operations and retail teams for corrective actions.
KPIs / Key Deliverables:
- Improvement in regional VM compliance scores.
- Timely closure of VM audit observations.
- Consistency in brand presentation across EBO & MBO stores.
- Effective coordination with regional stakeholders.
3. VM Calendar Execution & In-Store Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute monthly and quarterly VM calendars.
- Implement promotional campaigns, festive concepts, and in-store branding.
- Ensure customer-focused visual presentation and enhanced shopping experience.
- Maintain high standards of store aesthetics and visual communication.
KPIs / Key Deliverables:
- Timely execution of VM calendar activities.
- Improved in-store customer experience feedback.
- Effective implementation of promotional and festive campaigns.
- Increased customer engagement through impactful displays.
4. Retail Space Mapping & Product Flow Optimization
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan store layouts and product placements for maximum commercial impact.
- Optimize category-wise space allocation and product flow.
- Coordinate with merchandising and retail teams for space productivity improvement.
- Analyze store performance and recommend layout enhancements.
KPIs / Key Deliverables:
- Efficient space utilization across stores.
- Improved product visibility and category performance.
- Enhanced store navigation and customer flow.
- Successful execution of space mapping projects.
5. Training, Team Capability & VM Communication
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct VM training sessions for store teams and regional VM staff.
- Develop VM guidelines, SOPs, and communication materials.
- Build team capability for consistent VM execution.
- Ensure effective communication of seasonal VM directives.
KPIs / Key Deliverables:
- Completion of planned VM training programs.
- Improved team understanding of VM standards.
- Reduction in VM execution errors.
- Effective communication and adherence to VM guidelines.
