Role Description This is a contract, on-site Visual Merchandising Intern role based in Delhi, India. The intern will assist in planning and executing in-store visual displays, including window installations, product placements, and signage, in line with brand guidelines and seasonal themes. Daily tasks include organizing merchandise on the floor, supporting store layout changes, and ensuring displays are well-maintained, clean, and visually appealing throughout the day. The role also involves coordinating with the retail and sales teams to highlight key collections, tracking customer reactions to displays, and proposing improvements based on feedback and trends. The intern will support day-to-day store operations as needed to maintain a cohesive and engaging customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with store staff, designers, and management.
- Interest or experience in retail environments, with an understanding of store operations and visual standards.
- Customer service orientation, with the ability to observe shopper behavior and adjust displays to enhance engagement.
- Basic sales awareness to support product highlighting, cross-merchandising, and promotional storytelling.
- Ability to conceptualize and assist in creating impactful window displays and in-store visual concepts.
- Attention to detail, a strong aesthetic sense, and interest in fashion and trends.
- Ability to work on-site, stand for extended periods, and handle light physical tasks related to merchandising.
- Current student or recent graduate in Fashion, Visual Merchandising, Retail, Design, or a related field is preferred.
