American Eagle has emerged as one of India's most preferred premium denim brands, while Reebok – transitioned under the Company's management in 2022 – has expanded its footprint across multiple channels. Simon Carter continues to strengthen its position in the premium menswear segment through its distinctive design language and curated collections.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Planning and Execution of New Store + Renovations:
1. Open all stores as per latest MPM (Merchandising Presentation Manual) + NSO (New Store Opening) guidelines and the latest retail ID.
2. Plan the layout of the store along with the HO VM + Planning team to ensure the right sub brand adjacencies, merchandise densities and elevations as per the business plan.
3. Plan and oversee all stores with the AVM and provide the timelines and the budget to the AVM. 4. Ensure everything is executed within stipulated budget and timelines.
5. Ensure timely billing process.
Improve the visual experience for the customer:
1. Manage all the adaptations of Window and In-store Dockets for the region and plan a tight and timely execution with the AVMs
2. Plan the regional and ABM cluster model store and ensure the execution for the region. Also, plan the trainings needed with RM and ABM and implement the same.
3. Ensure all elements are within stipulated budget. Keep the cost tight and negotiate well with the vendor.
4. Deploy latest communications in all stores and ensure that the AVMs follow-up on the implementation.
5. Periodic vendor evaluation to ensure high quality of the execution across the region. Also, ensure that vendors follow the fire and safety protocols in all jobs.
Drive Operational excellence in VM:
1. Manage and maintain the AVM store visit calendars, store visit reports, training calendar,
2. Compile and maintain execution pics, reports, adaptations and store dockets of the region.
3. Keep the billing process tight and follow the process to the T.
4. Monitor the VM budget and ensure all the executions done are as per HO prescribed materials and budget cap.
VM Team Development:
1. Ensure AVMs attend the requisite trainings for their skill and/or potential development.
2. Ensure VM fair and regular market visits, for self and team, to expand knowledge horizon.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Graduation
2. Work Experience: 5+ years
3. Should possess a sense of fashion/styling + design and an eye for detail.
4. Well versed in Corel Draw. Knowing Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator will be a plus.
5. Negotiation skills to secure quality products and timely execution from vendors.
6. Ability to work with swift timelines and in a high-pressure environment.
