Job Description

Job Title: Regional Visual Merchandiser

Years: 6-7 years

Location: Vikhroli

Education:

Any graduate with a degree in Visual Design / Communication Design / Visual Merchandising / Interior Design from a reputed institute/university.

Experience:

2–4 years of experience in a similar role with lifestyle retail brands.

Role Overview:

The role focuses on driving footfalls into retail studios and ensuring strong in-store conversions through impactful, creative, and relevant visual merchandising across storefronts and interiors.

The individual will be responsible for understanding customer preferences and translating insights into compelling brand representation within physical retail spaces. The goal is to create visually engaging environments that are simple yet meaningful, enhancing overall customer experience.

Additionally, the role involves making ROI-driven decisions related to merchandising infrastructure such as digital displays, interior décor elements, and marketing collateral. Close collaboration with design teams is essential to ensure consistent brand identity across all locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customize merchandising strategies for each retail studio by collaborating with studio project teams and leveraging unique property characteristics.
  • Participate in zoning and layout planning alongside brand teams from the initial stages.
  • Apply visual merchandising principles to convert walk-ins into potential customers.
  • Stay updated on lifestyle and design trends and incorporate relevant elements (e.g., product samples, swatches, display formats).
  • Align all visual merchandising initiatives with the quarterly marketing calendar and ensure timely execution across locations.
  • Work closely with brand managers to understand sales trends, customer preferences, and inventory planning.
  • Oversee on-floor merchandise placement and maintain optimal stock availability.
  • Plan and execute seasonal and thematic campaigns in coordination with marketing teams.
  • Manage execution partners and develop knowledge of materials, while encouraging use of local resources and collaborations.
  • Collaborate with spatial design and visual communication teams to deliver projects on time.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end execution with a strong focus on delivery and quality.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar design tools.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel and adaptability to different cultural contexts across cities.
