We're looking for a Visual Designer to join our forward-thinking, inquisitive 13-member Design team. As part of Design for Marketing, your strong conceptual and compelling visual storytelling skills, including illustrations, will help create, position, and communicate the different brands fittingly in the minds of the different target audiences. You'll help define how people perceive and engage with our brands. The team plays a critical role covering areas such as user research, user experience and interface design, branding, visual design, animation, and motion graphics.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex financial and technology concepts into clear, compelling visual stories.
- Contribute to the evolution of each brand's visual language.
- Setting new standards for visual storytelling.
- Evolving and maintaining brand guidelines, ensuring design scalability and coherence across formats.
- Experiment with emerging trends to keep our visuals fresh and forward-looking.
- Design visual assets for brand campaigns spread across social media and websites.
- Develop and maintain consistent visual systems across both HugoHub and B2C Hugosave brands.
- Support UX/UI teams with high-fidelity visuals and contribute to product aesthetics.
- Bring strategic and conceptual thinking to visual challenges, from campaign art direction to official merchandise.
Requirements
- Familiarity with common design tools such as Adobe Suite, Figma, or other relevant software.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communication Design, Graphic Design, or a relevant area.
- An approach of using First Principles for solving problems, simple or complex.
- Ability to ideate and empathize to create impactful designs.
- Ability to translate brand strategy into visual systems and campaign narratives.
- Strong foundation in basic graphic design and principles.
- Expertise in visual design, branding, and illustration.
- Being a good team player and taking feedback constructively.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to align illustrations with brand personality.
- Strong understanding of layout, hierarchy, color, and typography in digital environments.
- Comfort with articulating your thoughts to communicate within and across teams.
